How we handle your information

This notice explains what happens to the personal information you send us through this website. Double Byte Ltd is the data controller, registered office Lakeside, 710 Station Road, Grendon, Northants, NN7 1JB (company number 09172032).

What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, and optionally your company and phone number, plus your message. This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and, if you become a customer, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. We never sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who else sees it

Messages sent through the form are received and stored by Netlify, which hosts this website, and passed on to our email. Netlify acts only on our instructions. We don’t share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to work are deleted within 24 months. If you become a customer, we keep records for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email info@doublebyte.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
